A football blog is born

A Barcelona branded soccer ball

There can never be too many football blogs on the internet.

Oh, what’s that? There already are?

Allow me to rephrase that then; There are not enough good football blogs on the internet, and that is what we are going to be trying our darnedest to be.

Rather than attempt to keep you up-to-date on every tiniest piece of news happening in football or the changing hairstyles of Sir David Beckham (actually we might well write about that), we’re going to be writing about football culture, tactics, some of the stranger characters involved in football and whatever else tweaks our fancy.

As long as it’s at least tangentially related to the game we all love of course; – you don’t have to worry about us publishing articles about our adventures in extreme needlecraft (unless we were to do it whilst watching or playing football, but the latter would be both dangerous and rather silly).

We hope it will become both informative and entertaining so stay tuned. We’re getting some of these newfangled social accounts set up, as of right now you can follow us on twitter @provenquality and subscribe to our RSS feed.

I’ve been busy assembling a talented team of writers to entertain you and have even managed to get hold of an Editor who resembles Martin O’Neill. With him at the helm we can’t fail, right?

Founder of Proven Quality and a network of Football news aggregator sites, John lives in Spain, and has also lived in France, Germany and the UK. John can be found tweeting under the provenquality handle.
