Manchester City were the most successful team in the 2022-23 season as they won an incredible treble of trophies.
Pep Guardiola’s side beat Arsenal to the Premier League title before triumphing over Manchester United at Wembley to lift the FA Cup.
The Citizens were far from dominant in the Champions League final against Inter Milan, but they ultimately managed to seal the coveted European trophy thanks to Ilkay Gundogan’s strike in the 68th minute of the game.
Elsewhere in Spain, Barcelona sealed their first La Liga title since 2019 under manager Xavi Hernandez, finishing 10 points above Real Madrid.
Napoli also enjoyed a hugely successful 2022-23 campaign as they lifted the Serie A title, ending their 33-year title drought in the process.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich won their 11th consecutive Bundesliga trophy but that was more down to Borussia Dortmund’s final day collapse against Mainz 05 rather than the Bavarians own brilliance.
Now the 2023 summer transfer window is in full swing, with all the big European clubs trying to bolster their ranks.
