Sights of the World Cup in Salvador, Part 3 (photo gallery)

This set of photos from Salvador takes us up to the opening of the World Cup, and the Brazil v Croatia match being screened in a square in Salvador’s Pelourinho (old town).

The photo of the man in the cafe is one of my favourite photos so far. I passed the cafe whilst walking up the street and, having spotted his cats decided that I would to have to stop in on my way back. I drank one of the best cups of coffee I have ever tasted in charming surroundings with an incredible view. I said goodbye to the owner, left the cafe and was a few steps down the street before I decided I had to go back to ask him if I could take his portrait with his pets. Thankfully he agreed!

This is part three of my series of photo blogs from Brazil, if you missed them, check out part one, and part two. More soon!
