Thomas Broich is a German footballer from Munich, currently playing for Brisbane Roar in the Australian A-League.

Broich is an attacking midfielder who played for three Bavarian academies including SpVgg Unterhaching. Broich moved to SV Wacker Burghausen in 2001, where he made 78 appearances before signing for Borussia Mönchengladbach in January 2004. Broich was rated as a future star for the German national team but suffered an injury in May 2004 which disturbed his development. Broich made 7 appearances for Germany at Under 21 level, and has made two appearances for the German B team.

Broich moved to FC Köln in 2006, making 69 appearances as scoring four goals for the club before moving to FC Nürnberg in 2009, where he made only 7 appearances. Broich’s career appeared to have stalled following injuries and disagreements with numerous managers. However on 11th May 2010, Broich moved to Australia to play with Brisbane Roar, where he has become an important player, signing a four contract extension in September 2012.
