Tom Carroll, full name Thomas James Carroll is an English footballer, who plays for Queens Park Rangers, on loan for Tottenham Hotspur.

Carroll plays as a central midfielder, and looks suited to a deep-lying playmaker role, thanks to his range of passing and vision. Carroll grew up in Watford, and joined the Tottenham Hotspur youth academy in 2008, signing a professional contract with the North London club in June 2010. Carroll made his debut for Spurs in a Europa League playoff in August 2011, and played in four group stage games in that season’s competition.

In January 2011 Carroll joined Leyton Orient on loan for the rest of the 2011-12 season. In January 2012, Carroll went on loan again to Derby County, where he made 12 appearances, scoring one goal. On 3rd November 2012, Tom Carroll made his Premier League debut for Tottenham, coming on as a substitute in a 1-0 home defeat to Wigan.
Carroll went out on loan once more for the 2013-14 season, joining up with former manager Harry Redknapp at Queens Park Rangers.

Carroll has represented England at Under 19 and Under 21 level.
